Job title: Sales & Marketing Apprentice

Description:

Based in the head office, the Sales & marketing apprentice will assist the MP Skills Sales Manager and MPQC Marketing & Communications Officer learning all aspects of sales and marketing within the business.

Job Specification:

-Handle incoming calls for MP Skills

-Develop relationships within the industry

-Arrange Sit visits for the Sales Team

-Support Sales Manager and Marcomms Officer directly

-Develop and maintain contact lists

-Indentify marketing opportunities

-Develop a strong working knowledge of our CRM (Nexus)

-Work with the sales pipeline to develop business opportunities

-Copy-writing of marketing materials for MP Skills including external communications

-Graphic Design of marketing materials for MP Skills.

-Over seeing the MP skills social media including content generation and curation

-Contribute to the overall financial targets of the Sales Teams.

 
Further information: The post holder will need to be numerate, highly articulate, be confident using a range of IT packages and will be able to demonstrate the ability to learn new systems. Experience of using client management systems such as CRM would be highly desirable.

Additional information: “The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.70 per hour. This will be rising to £3.90 from 1st April 2019. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 18 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

* Please note that anyone under the age of 18 will only work a maximum of 40 hours per week. Any role which exceeds these hours on advert will be amended accordingly to fall in line with the legislation *
