Description:

Working across the award winning student union campus, you will gain a range of skills and experience in the different site across the campus. This role will give you the opportunity to work with a wide variety of customers, experienced staff and managers.

You will gain hands on experience in the day to day duties involved in carrying hospitality role and waiting on, alongside this the provision of excellent customer service.

Duties within the role

- Waiting on in the restaurant

- Clearing tables & re- laying

- Barista Training

- Serving drinks and hot beverages

- Providing excellent customer service

- Other duties as required

 
Further information: The post holder will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and team working skills. They will have good communication skills and be able to organise their workload at busy times.

Additional information: The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.70 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 18 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore most of the time you will be working at the employer's address. Depending on your training you will only need to attend college in Nottingham for initial assessments, enrolment and a few other rare occasions
